World renowned circus sensations to set sail on new cruise ship

SHE flies through the air with the greatest of ease. Cruise giant Princess has teamed up with a world-renowned circus company for an exclusive series of sensational shows at sea.

When new ship Sun Princess makes her debut in February 2024, she’ll be joined by Canadian company Cirque Éloize, the Montreal-based aerialists who have wowed a staggering five million people over the past 30 years.

Three original contemporary circus performances have been created for The Dome, the ship’s state-of-the-art top deck entertainment venue, which is the first of its kind for the line.

Cirque Éloize creates, produces its own shows, blending circus arts with music, dance, technology and theatre to enthral audiences seeking immersive entertainment.

The new shows will go on rotation in The Dome, with disciplines of aerial hoops, aerial pole, bungee, Cyr wheel, silks, mind-bending contortion and more.

Previous production Seul Ensemble

Blue is a journey into “the magical space between ocean and sky” which sees artistes travel through time and space, realising that no matter how far they go, the spirit of love is always with them.

Come Fly Away evokes notions the 1950s era Rat Pack, a whimsical retro spectacle in which the bandleader, aided and abetted by his ensemble of misfits, falls for an audience member.

Artbeat is an upbeat show celebrating the beauty and joy of living life in full colour. A kaleidoscope of characters work together in harmony, each contributing their talents to create a masterpiece.

Cirque Éloize performances will be complimentary and available to Sun Princess guests on a first come, first serve basis.
