HOLIDAYS at sea giant P&O Cruises has signed up chart star Sam Fender to soundtrack their latest TV ad – the  first time one of his tracks has been used in a major UK commercial campaign.

The singer’s ‘Getting Started’ plays alongside the fourth and final episode in the cruise line’s ‘Holidays As Varied As You’ ads featuring real-life cruise passengers sharing their own memories.

‘Family and the Fjords’ shows a mum recounting her experiences of a multi-generation holiday with her husband, two sons and her parents, told through first-person snapshots.

It was filmed on P&O Cruises’ newest ship, Iona and on location in Stavanger and Olden, Norway in August of this year.
