THE big season two finale of The Rings of Power last night had just about everything fans had been waiting for, including the showdown between Galadriel and Sauron, and confirmation that Gandalf has indeed entered the building.
I immediately resolved to rewatch The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogies again – and it brought back lots of memories of my own visit to Hobbiton some years ago. So what better excuse for me to revisit some of the photos I took on the set?

Here are some of the shots from Hobbiton itself, and from Peter Jackson’s Weta Workshop in Wellington, where you can marvel at all manner of props from the movies, including the chance to get your hands on some of Durin’s Mithril.
