LEARN to move like the Peaky Blinders. The team behind the official ballet based on the Brummie gangsters has launched a dance masterclass by order of … you know who.
Renowned dance company Rambert is putting on the workshop, which will take participants through the production’s iconic Red Right Hand routine, in London on Saturday August 3 – and tickets will fly out fast.
The class will be led by Rambert dancer and choreographer Simone Damberg-Würtz, who started out at the Royal Danish Ballet School before embarking on an award-winning career.

Organisers of the class say it is an opportunity to “immerse yourself into the world of Peaky Blinders with this contemporary dance workshop.
“Learn the moves from Rambert’s dance theatre show, Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby with Rambert dancer Simone. She’ll guide you through a contemporary warm up, before teaching you the iconic routine to Red Right Hand.”
The class runs from 10am to 1pm on Saturday August 3 at Rambert Studio, 99 Upper Ground, London SE1 9PP, and tickets priced £35 are available from the Rambert site.

It’s said to be suitable for all levels, including beginners.
The news comes as Rambert announces new tour dates for Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby, which blew me away when I saw it at Birmingham’s Hippodrome. See my review here.
