IN THE final photo from this week’s selection of shots, my young grandsons look out over Loch Long from the shell-strewn shore at Ardgartan, just along the road from Arrochar.
Many years ago, my own mum and dad took me on the first of several holidays in and around Oban, and I’ve been a regular visitor ever since, first with my children, and now with the grandkids.
We’ve just enjoyed a three-generation break in Argyll & Bute and the boys loved the place. My hope is that the memories they made with mum and dad, grandma and grandad, last a lifetime.
And, who knows, maybe one day they’ll pass on the love to the next generation and beyond. Hope you’ve enjoyed the photos this week, and thank you for supporting the blog. See you on our travels.
