KNOWN for the dramatic Dolomites, turquoise lakes and emerald forests, Trentino is making a name for itself as, quite literally, North Italy’s star attraction.
Because those starry, starry nights are simply spectacular.
Throughout the summer, the region hosts weekly events enabling visitors to explore the millions of stars that sparkle in its protected night sky, with strict laws to limit light pollution.

The village nestles at the foot of the Presanella mountain and close to Stelvio National Park, one of the oldest protected areas in Italy, with little light pollution making for incredible night skies.
Whether on a star-gazing walking tour or lying in a meadow while covered in a warm blanket, visitors can view endless constellations including Orion’s belt, the Big Dipper and Cassiopeia.
