Could these be the AI designed cruise ships of the future?

LOVING these pictures suggesting the sleek shape of cruise ships to come as artificial intelligence breaks down design barriers and offers a whole new take on maritime heritage.

They’ve been created by the good folk at Mundy Cruising, a specialist cruise holiday agency since 1970, who have been monitoring the advance of AI in the tourism trade.

They believe that artificial intelligence will not only unlock new developments in design but also have a role to play in itinerary planning and the passenger experience onboard.

In a fascinating article on the agency’s news blog, which you can read in full here, managing director Edwina Lonsdale speculates on the way cruise ships could look in future.

“We expect ships with large open spaces, boasting plenty of greenery, low lighting to enable star-watching in the middle of the ocean, and panoramic views from every part of your light-flooded maritime home,” she says.

Mundy Cruising was the first cruise specialist in the UK, and was last year named Luxury Cruise Agency of the Year, adding to an industry-leading list of awards. Visit mundycruising.co.uk
