NOT too long to go in a galaxy far, far away for the arrival of Star Wars ‘after dark’ specials as Disneyland feels the force – and fans will surely have a good feeling about this…
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nights will run on four dates in May at the California resort, with pre-sale tickets going on release tomorrow, Tuesday February 21.
Guests are promised force-themed pyrotechnics, a special light show, costumed characters, music, lightsaber classes, photo opps and much more, right down to special Star Wars snacks.
Star Wars: Celebrate the Nite will see fireworks illuminating the skies above Disneyland park, the spectacle set to the powerful music of the franchise films.
Captain Phasma and her Stormtroopers will be out in force on the March of the First Order in Tomorrowland, as they search for a Resistance spy among the Tusken Raiders and Jawas.
There’ll be Lightsaber Instructional demonstrations, where fans will learn to handle a lightsaber through a series of elite moves sure to bring out anyone’s inner Jedi.
Elsewhere, new photo backdrops will feature some of the galaxy’s favourite heroes and villains, captured by Disney PhotoPass photographers at the party.
Those hungry for adventure will find themed snacks such as galactic churros and otherworldly sweets, and there’ll be pre-party admission from 6pm, with no theme park reservation required.
A limited number of Disneyland After Dark tickets go on pre-sale for Magic Key holders tomorrow at Disneyland.com, with general sale opening on February 23.
