TODAY’S Saturday Snapshot was taken during a memorable Mediterranean cruise we took in Spring 2018 which included visits to Malta, Sardinia, Naples, Florence – and the Monaco Grand Prix.

Taken from our cabin balcony onboard P&O Cruises’ late lamented Oceana on May 30, it was one of several spectacular sunsets during the voyage, enjoyed with just the sound of the ship gliding through the sea.

Earlier, the Grand Prix on May 27 had been a far noisier affair, and we got to watch a rare Daniel Ricciardo victory from the VIP balcony of the Grace Kelly Dance Academy overlooking the iconic track, sipping Champagne with David Coulthard.
