MICHELIN starred chef and TV favourite Tom Kerridge is serving up a triple treat for foodies – three Michelin stars and three pubs in one gastronomic getaway.
He has put together a two-night sleepover where guests can dine at each of his three pubs in Marlow – The Hand & Flowers, The Coach and The Butcher’s Tap & Grill.
The £500-a-head deal includes a two-night stay at The Hand & Flowers with a three-course à la carte dinner. There are 15 beautifully appointed rooms, some with luxury free-standing roll top baths and a selection of sweet treats in the room.
Led by Head Chef Tom De Keyser, the only two-Michelin starred pub in the world – an accolade the pub has held for 10 years –guests can experience signature dishes such as the Essex Lamb Bun or the classic Fish & Chips.
A bottle of sparkling English wine from Marlow’s Harrow & Hope will be in your room upon arrival alongside a signed copy of The Hand & Flowers cookbook.
Next morning, after breakfast, guests can enjoy the river walks and boutique shops of Marlow before popping into The Butcher’s Tap & Grill, headed up by Chef and Butcher Executive Jamie May, for a bite to eat from the counter-to-grill menu.
Boasting the finest British cuts from Dovecote Park beef to Blythburgh pork, choose your cut and how you would like it cooked, or enjoy signature burgers or hotdogs.
Worried about squeezing in supper? Then a Butcher’s Tap & Grill voucher for £50 per couple is available to spend at the counter as an alternative to lunch.
Come evening, guests can enjoy a selection of four dishes per person from Head Chef Sarah Hayward at The Coach, where cleverly curated small plates are the order of the day.
They include Mussels Marinière with Warm Stout and Brown Bread or Whole Stuffed Rotisserie Quail with Matson Spiced Sauce and Fried Quail’s Egg.
The £500 per person package includes service, but not drinks and sides. Available on Tuesdays only, from May 1, there’s more information at www.thehandandflowers.co.uk or by calling 01628 482277.
