DISNEY has revealed the start date for the 30th anniversary celebrations at the entertainment giant’s Paris park.
The special celebratory season will kick off on March 6, 2022 and is being touted as a ‘once in a lifetime’ spectacular.
Disneyland Paris bosses today promised “This once-in-a-lifetime celebration of the resort’s enchanting past and exciting future will invite guests to enter a shining new era where they will dream bigger, laugh louder and smile wider.
“Creating a festive atmosphere, Disneyland Paris’ 30th Anniversary will feature a host of special experiences across Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park and the entire resort.”
Details of special events and productions in development for the event are being kept under wraps for now, and are expected to be drip-fed to the public in the run-up to the date.

But we are told that “Disneyland Paris cast members will be at the heart of the celebration”.
It was on April 12, 1992 that the park opened officially as Euro Disney Resort and welcomed guests for the first time after years of planning and development.
Initially the site at Chessy, some 20 miles east of Paris, consisted of the Disneyland Park, hotels, shops and entertainment venues, with its sister Walt Disney Studios Park opening later in 2002.
Three decades later, the resort has continued to expand with new stories, characters and adventures, adding family favourite franchises such as Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel, and has become officially the number one tourist destination in Europe.
