Watch Dublin’s dramatic drone show for St Patrick’s Day

DUBLIN put on an amazing aerial show to mark St Patrick’s Day, using 500 drones to create ‘An Orchestra of Light’.

The result was a memorable high-tech night sky show with ever-changing graphics in pin-point precision.

The show told the story of how one small island on the edge of Europe has spread its culture and traditions across the world.

Symbols of Ireland’s music and dance heritage played out over Dublin skies in the spectacular light show.

It is just the latest example of show organisers turning to drone technology rather than using tired old fireworks.

The video was commissioned by Tourism Ireland. For tourism advice, attractions and tips see Ireland.com.
