BREAKING my journey from Inverary to Ardgartan, time to take a breath of fresh Scottish air at the aptly named Rest And Be Thankful viewpoint all of 803ft above sea level.
The highest point on the A83 divides Glen Kinglas from Glen Croe, and you can see the old valley road engineered by General Wade during the subjection of Scotland following the Jacobite rebellion.
I’m just back from a Scottish sojourn and sorting through the many photos I took while exploring the spectacular scenery of Argyll & Bute – so thought I’d share a few with you this week.
More tomorrow. See you then.
